Brand Awareness can break down into many other categories including Brand Identity Marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Branding, Email Marketing and Print/ Direct Marketing. Brand Awareness is when your prospects, clients or potential buyers become aware of your company based on your logo and marketing. When a buyer is aware of a brand they are more likely to do business with you. If you think about print marketing a direct mail, this is where Brand Awareness really comes in.
Think about it: Companies send out the same piece of mail to the same 100,000 homes every month. Why would you keep sending the same print material to those 100,000 homes. You guessed it, Brand Awareness. The more that people see your brand, the more they remember you. The goal is eventually, psychologically, people become familiar with your brand and they associate your brand with consistency and trust. Once people trust your brand, you are good to go. That is just one customer though. This should typically happen throughout the life time of a business.
