Who Is Brenan Greene?

Front Street Media was developed to provide a high level of customer service with extreme attention to detail. Front Street Media was born in 2014 after founder Brenan Greene ventured off on his own after working in the web design and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) industry since 2005. Brenan Greene has started many successful online e-commerce companies that have grown and sold over the years with the tools of digital marketing, SEO, social media, CRO, and more.

The road getting to Front Street has been composed of long nights, early mornings, and quite literally, thousands of coffees. Brenan’s experience in SEO goes back to 2005 and since then many things have changed in the search engines. Learning the changes and staying on top of these changes are imperative for client success and the success of future clients. Brenan has attended many of the top industry conventions and seminars including Adobe MaxSearch Marketing Expo (SMX), and the SEO MozCon to name a few.


Brenan Greene started working for a local internet marketing company in Folsom, CA his senior year of high school (back in 2005). The job was selling directory SEO campaigns to local businesses in El Dorado Hills, Folsom, Granite Bay, and the greater Sacramento area.

Once Brenan realized the power of SEO, he began to learn everything he could. Staying up late at night and getting up early in the morning. Brenan was cramming his head with SEO knowledge and expertise almost every day. He was learning information like user-focused content creation, link building, keyword optimization, and not to mention fun stuff like page speed, code compression, and more.

Brenan got his main information from an amazing podcast called The Ten Golden Rules Of Online Marketing [Jay Berkowitz]. This blog and podcast, not to mention SEO, were very new at the time and have grown over the years. This podcast covered many areas of online marketing and internet marketing including SEO, SEM (Search Engine Marketing), Backlinks, Adwords, and more.

Beyond the Ten Golden Rules of Internet Marketing, Brenan was following the top SEO blogs that were pushing out some amazing content at the time and still are today. Some of these blogs may include MOZ, Search Engine Land, and Search Engine Journal and some of the top names in the industry such as Neil Patel and Brian Dean. When following these blogs and websites, Brenan soon realized that he needed to switch focus from directory SEO to domain names, website design, and eCommerce SEO.

Small Business Website Design

Once Brenan moved from developing SEO campaigns on directory websites to purchasing domain names and developing websites for small businesses, he soon realized… he was pretty damn good. With the success of hundreds of small business website designs and SEO, Brenan moved on to bigger projects like eCommerce store SEO and national target market campaigns.

Brenan built a handful of personal niche market eCommerce sites which have been wildly successful and has since built out many more for his clients over the years. With the experience and passion for marketing and web design, Brenan knew he would be at the top of his game and ahead of the competition in no time.

Running a Web Shop Full Time

In 2008, Brenan started working with a start-up web development company full-time. His roles and duties at this web development company were a bit archaic. This was not your average web development company where everyone had a role. To say it lightly, it was a mess. Duties and skills included SEO, SEM, PPC, Social Media, Website Design and Development, Graphic Design, Print Design, Brand Identity, and more. Brenan brought this start-up to a gross revenue of over $2M a year. After almost 8 years of running that shop, Brenan knew it was time for his own.

The Birth of Front Street Media

Brenan saw the need for something different in a website design company in El Dorado Hills. What bothered Brenan about traditional web design companies was their lack of services offered.

These areas of service that most web development companies were lacking at the time included photography, film, content writing, and authentic inbound marketing. The goal was to bring all this to the table for clients at one shop.
